Sveta Petka Event

Sveta Petka is our Slava, celebrated on the Saturday closest to the day of the Saint, October 27th.

Our celebration includes church service, dinner, and performances by Opanak groups, followed by a night of dancing! Tickets for the event are limited and can be bought from us. Ticket sales will be communicated through email, and typically start in October. 

Serbian Days

Our Serbian Days Festival is held the first weekend of June.

Our Serbian Days constitute a two-day event encompassing performances by several different cultures and performances by all of our groups. Saturday evening features live music and a DJ. Our event includes fun for the whole family, including delicious traditional Serbian food, face painting, bouncy castle and more! We extend invitations to groups from various regions across Canada and the United States to join us for our festival.

Sveti Sava

Our event is hosted by our Serbian School around January 27.

Saint Sava is a Serbian School celebration, honouring our young members as students and dancers of Opanak. This event encompasses a lunch, presentation by the Serbian School J.J Zmaj, and dance performances by us!
